I just saw now that Manchester is hosting movies in Veterans Memorial Park. It’s a beautiful green space in the middle of downtown, and I’ve enjoyed seeing movies there before. You’re in downtown, but not right up against traffic, so you don’t have to worry too much about your kids running off.
Bring a blanket or chair (or both) and some snacks to enjoy. The city will be showing “Shrek” on Wednesday (the 26th), “Honey I Shrunk the Kids” on July 17th, “Monsters Inc” on July 31st, and “School of Rock” on August 14th. They are on Wednesdays, which can be a little rough, but it is a nice (free) way to get out of the house.
