Hello Summer!

Have you seen Nashua’s SummerFun program? I love that Nashua uses Greeley Park so much! If you’ve never been, it is a huge park that is on both sides of Concord Street. The playground, bathrooms, and grilling area in on the west side, and the bandshell, Parks and Rec Department, and various fields are on the east side of the park. You can get a permit to reserve the gazebo for $25 for the day, and it’s a lovely resource for the community.

My favorite events from SummerFun are:

Tuesday Concerts
Every Tuesday, the city hosts a concert in the bandshell at 7pm. Bring a blanket or chairs and enjoy live music with your family.

Monday Yoga in the Park
On Mondays, the YMCA hosts yoga in the park. I love it, but with a job, it is hard to get to. It is a great way to get moving in the summer months.

Pic in the Park
I have fond memories of getting a picnic blanket and watching a movie in the park. They only do a couple a summer now, but it’s still one of my favorite things to do.

Hope to see you at some of the events. I’ll be doing breakdowns and tips for them soon!

Note- I am not sponsored by the city. They did not ask me to promote this. I just really like the programing the Parks and Rec Department puts on.
