It’s important to me that my kids have a hot breakfast in the morning. How do I make sure that happens every morning?

I don’t.

Every weekend, my kids help me make extra breakfast for the week, and we warm it up in the toaster and use these fancy paper bags (affiliate link) to eat them in the car.

French Toast
I figure since I’m saving money and maybe making something more nutritious (or at least spending more time with my kids), I can splurge and get a loaf of brioche bread. Then my griddle fits 6 pieces of bread, so I can make a loaf in the time it’d take me to make 3 in a pan (more if I can steal the Blackstone). Pop in the toaster- done

Waffles/Pancakes
First get yourself the warehouse sized bag of Krusteaz. I’m pretty sure it’s less than $10 at Costco. A Dash waffle maker (affiliate link) makes the perfect size for the toaster. If you want blueberries, add them. If your kid only eats them with sprinkles, same. So easy, so good. It’s also a just add water mix, so pancakes are super easy.

And there you have it. Meal prep and a fun activity with the kids!
